Career Education

To compete in the 21st century job market, students need to be prepared for a career straight out of high school, not only after they go to college. More and more educators are calling for schools to provide better training and education that can ensure students who choose not to attend college have the skills to enter a competitive workforce.

  1. The issue is.. “To compete in the 21st century job market..” This assumes that there is no other way other than competition. We have to go MUCH deeper and adopt a collaborative model of learning and knowing what we are capable of. We are not here to simply consume resources, and have children who are going to do the same. The FUNADAMENTAL basis of the knowledge economy is about KNOWING ourselves..
