		<description>I doubt most countries will reach this goal - not with the global economy where it is. The emphasis will be on job creation. President Obama has it right theoretically; if standards and access don&#039;t improve in the U.S., we&#039;ll join the rest of the world in grappling for unskilled employment because we lack the education and training to do otherwise. 

Personally, I&#039;d like to see some effort at pumping new life into libraries - wouldn&#039;t it be lovely if libraries were used as a place to test alternative approaches to &#039;whole child&#039; education?
