I very much enjoyed reading your post on Jensen's outline and strategies that educators can use to maximize the learning of students who have grown up i poverty. There is always hope for positive change in our society. I noticed the last bullet of strategies includes extracurriculars and arts. I am inspired to incorporate art into the curricullum somehow. It seems that unless it is tied tightly to the curricullum, it is not supported.
